About the Role:
As Principal Advisor Safety, Health and Wellbeing, you will lead the delivery of professional WHS, rehabilitation and wellbeing services across EDQ.
Provide high-level strategic and technical WHS advice to leaders, managers and teams
Support incident and hazard reporting, investigations and management of notifiable incidents
Develop and deliver WHS strategies, education, assurance and compliance activities across EDQ
Monitor safety trends and prepare reports, briefings and recommendations on WHS matters
Support safe return-to-work, rehabilitation, wellbeing and psychosocial safety initiatives
About You:
You will be a confident, self-directed WHS professional who delivers practical safety, health and wellbeing outcomes.
Formal WHS qualifications, such as Certificate IV, Diploma or relevant tertiary study, are highly regarded
Build trusted relationships, collaborate effectively and influence positive outcomes
Communicate clearly and navigate sensitive matters with empathy, resilience and sound judgement
Lead initiatives, support change and manage competing priorities with professionalism
Apply WHS legislation, codes and problem-solving to practical policies and processes
Show curiosity and initiative to identify risks, improve processes and strengthen workplace culture
